Tell me something that you have done this week that you are proud of!
I know for me this week was CRAZY. My youngest daughter turned two. And with that, I took some time for reflection. It really got me thinking about how far I have come in the past two years. Before I had my youngest, I was not a runner, fitness was sort of the last thing on my mind. But, after I gave birth to her something changed. I wanted to try new things, I wanted to push my body and I wanted to start overcoming things. And that is exactly what I did.
On her birthday I had the old ball and chain take a few pictures of me (cause I was looking super hot and stuff) and just to look at those pictures…it made me feel like a million bucks. It gave me hope that in two more years I am going to be looking even more incredible.
And of course it’s not all about looks (although looking great is a great benefit of working out) but it’s about the journey that I have come and the changes that I have made. Two years ago I definitely would not think that I would be writing a blog on my own business website…about fitness nonetheless. It’s really…just…incredible. I’m proud this week. Definitely proud.
