I kind of think I want to get this. Has anyone on here ever used it? Thoughts/comments/concerns? Is it worth the money?
Maybe Fitbit can just give me one…I promise I’ll say nice things about it

Sore Fitness has been nominated for the Shiny-Penny award! It is an award for a small business run by a military spouse.
I am beyond excited to have been nominated but now I need your help! Please vote for Sore so that we can make it to Round Two and potentially win this thing.
It would be such an honor to win this award, I think if nothing, it will show that dreams are worth the work. If you have something you want to make happen, DO IT! Do it now! There is no reason to wait, you got this.
Never in a million years, not even two years ago, would I have believed that I would not only be a personal trainer but a small business owner. I have busted my butt and continue to do so to make this dream work. I have been so incredibly blessed with the people I have met who have helped me along the way in my journey and to those who continue to help me make it happen.
To me this is so much more than just a job, this is my life. And it means the world to me.
Thank you all for helping me make my dreams come true.
Now, go over and vote for Sore so we can win this damn thing!

So, I would consider myself a bit of a yogi. In the sense that I like to do yoga poses…not really all of the important breathing/stretching/important stuff before hand…Which is currently why I am in the situation that I am.
The other day I was attempting to do a pose I probably shouldn’t have. Simply because I am not yet ready for it. And my ass, literally, is now paying the price.
I definitely broke my butt.
Like, I think I will need glute replacement surgery here in the near future.
The good news I was able to hold the pose for like all of 20 seconds (long enough to get it on camera and to let the Twitter/Instagram world know it happened) and then I curled up into a little ball and cried for a bit.
What I am saying is…make sure to do yoga correctly. Don’t be a dummy, stretch your shit out before you do it. Do not just jump into some extremely hard pose without doing the proper poses before it. Otherwise, you will regret it. And you will not be able to walk and you will not be able to sit down without saying “ouch…sonofabitch” and you will have a weird limp in your gate.
The good news is…it kind of looked awesome.

So as most of you know I have been in the Under Armour What’s Beautiful competition for a little over a year now.
If you do not know of this competition, you should! It is a lot of fun and a great way to keep yourself accountable. They just recently started Round Three a few days ago.
Essentially what it is is a place for you to write down your goals and keep track of yourself achieving those goals. You can also go on and challenge other contestants to do things as well as try out new things for yourself. You can post videos and pictures of yourself making your goals happen/smashing someones challenge etc…
My favorite part is that you can go and see other women killing it in where ever their journey/sport takes them. The fact that this is *mostly* a competition between women is pretty damn awesome. Simply because…women are so damn mean to each other all of the time, to find a safe place on the internet to encourage each other, to admire each other and to inspire each other is pretty damn fabulous.
Even better is that you can potentially win some really awesome prizes, things like swag bags from Under Armour or even a trip to Costa Rica for three lucky ladies.
Gonna be honest, the competition is tough…These ladies are not messing around. They absolutely mean business. But, it’s a lot of fun. Trying out new poses, trying out new exercises, it’s just a good time. Things you never thought you’d be able to do, you figure out that maybe you actually can.
I won’t talk about the fact that I have yet to win anything…key word YET…I’m not bitter or anything…why would I be? I mean that’s crazy…I’m fine.
Just join me! I currently have two teams that I have created, one is called Team Bwawsy and this is for veteran ladies like myself who have been in all three rounds of this competition and have yet to win anything. Another team I just created is called Trainers Training and this is a team for trainers to join and help encourage other trainers. Doesn’t matter the field in which you train, just if you’re a trainer or not. We can all learn from each other and I am hoping that that is what this team will be about.
