“My journey began in May 2012. I have been battling my weight forever, but really got bad after having my three boys, three years in a row. I let myself gain a lot of weight and got to 225. I found out about Bootcamp on Facebook and was scared to try but I called Kim and she talked me into it. I started bootcamp weighing in at 211. I did the exercises but didn’t watch my eating for the first several months. I finally got more serious about my eating in about mid September. I have still had ups and down but I have lost close to 20 lbs and several inches. December 2012 was a rough month with a lot of illness in my home so I missed pretty much the whole month and first week of January. However, now I feel that with having my goals in place and so many wonderful and inspiring ladies to cheer me on, that I can do anything. Yes, I will still have rough times, but I know that my Fit 4 Life Family will be there to help pick me back up and cheer me on!!!”

“Hello everyone my name is Amber. I am a wife and mother. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I had lost it once but it wasn’t in a healthy way. When I got married the second time we started having children right away. I packed on the pounds and we had 6 back-to-back pregnancies. We have 5 more children and we also lost 2. Those 2 losses sent me seeking comfort with food. My thought was that I could eat myself so unattractive that my husband would not touch me and I would not have to feel that pain again. I was wrong and thankfully so as we had 3 more beautiful babies. Oh you have lost count…..we have 6 children. After having our 6th I did not like the 270 pounds on the scale. It was hard to get through the day and keep up with the kids. I had to do something. I started watching what I ate but I just couldn’t move. I lost a lot and when we moved here a very young friend convinced me to go try bootcamp. These ladies are AWESOME! I may complain (ok I do that a lot) but I love it. I have lost a total of 115#. I can move, I can do burpees, and more importantly I can keep up with my kids. I am worth an hour a day. You are too. If you are reading this you may be debating if you can do it. You can! You are worth an hour”

“Where do I start on Fit 4 Life? The trainers? The classes? The ladies in the classes? If one word could describe them all I would say UPLIFTING! I moved to the Fort Knox area in May of 2012. I was bound and determined to not to lead my life the way I did at my last my post. I found Fit 4 Life on Facebook and it seriously was a gift that I had been needing! Called, signed up, and the rest is history! I attend everyday (or try to) and I have made such great friends and the best part is I take care of myself! I am truly thankful for what Kim and Jes do! They change lives! Motivate, encourage, and inspire people to do the unthinkable. To achieve their goals, and to take it day by day and never be hard on yourself. We’re all human, we’re all beautiful, and like Amber said, we’re all worth it!”

“I have to start my Fit4Life moment by stating that I am a Crossfit momma to the core, and yet I have been completely motivated, transformed and inspired by my mere 3 weeks at my Fit4Life Bootcamp with Kim and Jes. My Crossfit love started 5 years ago, and I have not strayed one time…until now. After deciding that I needed a change in pace, people and workouts, I took a deep breath, made a phone call to Kim, and started Fit4Life the next day. I am ecstatic to say that I have worked harder in the past 3 weeks than I have in the past 3 years. Since starting, I feel a happy sense of soreness daily, I leave feeling motivated to accomplish more with my running, and I am naturally inspired by everyone around me to improve and maintain my physical and mental self. I am excited to write that I have found a change in pace with Fit4Life that is amazing! This feeling comes from loving that it is for EVERYONE at every level of fitness, and it is a place of intensity, patience, kindness and misery…all wrapped into one workout at a time. I am so thankful for having crossed the path of Fit4Life, and additionally, so very thankful for the trainers and every fiercely dedicated momma that surrounds and pushes me every morning. Fit4Life is transforming me physically and mentally…everyday!”
