This week at F4L we are asking all of our clients to participate in a challenge each day of the week!
For our first challenge we are asking 1,000 squats!
This can be done all at once (although not advised) or broken up into groups throughout your workout. You can break up the squats with a couple of exercises of your choice, crunches, pushups, etc.
If you’d like to join us let us know!
Dig deep and let us know how you do!

I am not sure that there is anything better than being a good role model for my children. My youngest always goes into downward dog whenever I bring out my yoga mat. It melts my cold, cold heart. I love that I have been helping instill a good idea of what they should be doing with their lives. My oldest loves to sit and make “workout videos” where she makes up her own exercises. Such as the “ice cream cone” and the “mixer upper”…
Are you being the best role model you can for your kids?

Trainer Tip of the Week:
“Visualization can help to improve your workout. By visualizing yourself completing the exercise before you actually perform it, then you will be able to perform the exercise with more intensity and effectiveness.”
So remember, when you are looking at that board thinking “I cannot do that” your body is listening. If you are looking at that board and thinking “Oh easy” your body is listening to that as well. Make sure you’re telling your body the right stuff.

Yesterday was upside down Tuesday and my ladies went for it!
I asked for a regular headstand and they came through! Some weren’t so pretty but they rarely are when you are first starting out! It was just so awesome to see everyone trying out something that they either had never done before in their lives or haven’t done for a very, very long time!
Tessa looking fantastic, even doing them in jeans! Five stars for you, Tessa!
Getting the little ones involved in the fun!
Kendra having a go at it! Not so shabby Mrs. Kendra, not too shabby at all.

Mrs. Eliza…making it look easy.
Mrs. Chrissi giving it her best shot! So proud of you for trying something new! You keep working on it and I promise you will get there!

Mrs. Becky looking like a champ!
Mrs. Antonette! Don’t let her fool you, it took a minute to get here.
Mrs. Annette, rocking it out!
And here is Amanda, showing off a little bit
Very nicely done my dear!
